New Israeli airstrike kills 8 aid workers in Gaza

ALBAWABA- In a new massacre, Israeli airstrikes targeted aid teams in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, west of Gaza City, resulting in the death of 8 aid distribution workers. 

The bodies of the victims were transported to Al-Baptist Hospital.

However, on April 2nd, 2024, an Israeli air raid resulted in the deaths of six international aid workers and a Palestinian driver.

World Central Kitchen (WCK), a United States-based aid group, confirmed that its staff members were killed in what they described as a "targeted attack" by the Israeli military. The deceased included individuals from Palestine, Australia, Poland, and the United Kingdom, as well as a US-Canada citizen.

The attack occurred while WCK staff were delivering food from their latest shipment to Gaza, where hundreds of thousands of Palestinians are facing the threat of famine due to Israel's ongoing offensive.

The tragic incident adds to the mounting toll of casualties in Gaza, with more than 34,500 killed and 78,000 injured. 

Thousands remain missing amid fears of mass killings and the discovery of mass graves in hospitals following Israeli withdrawals from certain areas in Gaza.
