Barcelona are planning a move this summer for Liverpool star Darwin Nunez, as per The Sun.

The Catalan giants believe the Uruguay international could be the ideal replacement for Robert Lewandowski.

They are also betting on Liverpool's desire to sell their striker, as they need to raise funds for new deals ahead of Arne Slot's arrival next season.

Nunez failed to live up to expectations at Anfield, after arriving in a €100m deal from Benfica two years ago that expires in 2028.

Reports from South America claim the 24-year-old is keen on wearing the Barcelona shirt.
