Video: Man calls 911, NYPD shoots him dead

ALBAWABA - A new shocking video surfaced on the internet of two NYPD officers shooting a man dead in his home as it was shared across social media and news outlets alike. 

The man in question seemed to have been undergoing a physiological event as he was holding scissors while his brother and mother were watching which resulted in the NYPD officers he called through 911 to shoot him in his kitchen. 

According to Erem News, the officers described the situation as "chaotic" which resulted in the shooting that took place in the house on Mar. 27, 2024. The man appeared to have been suffering from a mental disorder which opened the discussion of whether the police should've shot him dead instead of trying to help.

The New York Attorney General's Office released the video to investigate further the shooting that happened three minutes after they arrived at the distraught person's home. 

John Chill who was the department's chief of patrol at the time stated, that the situation "immediately became very frantic, chaotic, and dangerous. Additionally, he added that the officers had "no choice" but to shoot. At least four shots were heard as the man's mother was clinging to him despite other family members trying to pull them apart. 

It was also confirmed that the fur shots penetrated the man's abdominal area leading to his death. Moreover, the man who was shot is called Rozario and his family made an official statement after the video surfaced, it said: 

"The video that was released makes it clear that Win should be alive but the police came and murdered him without any care for him or us. The police created a crisis and killed him in cold blood."
