ALBAWABA - Videos spread on social media from a concert in Egypt near the pyramids have sparked wide anger as many showed women almost "naked".
In one of the videos, a woman, who was wearing a very explicit shirt with almost all her breasts revealing, was also seen dancing and shaking while wearing a cap over her head.
The concert, which was held in the Giza region in Egypt, has sparked a wave of anger and controversy on social media, due to behavior that was out of decency, as some described, "naked" and indecent.
In detail, the huge concert, which was held in the Giza area, specifically in the vicinity of the “Pyramids,” was for the German band Keinemusik and was attended by about 8,000 people.
Video clips of the concert quickly spread online, arousing Egyptian and Arab public opinion, which greatly criticized it for the shocking behaviors seen in the clips which many said they don't match Arabic culture.
In a statement by the CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, Amr El-Kady, the latter revealed that most of the attendees were foreigners, and the reservations were from outside Egypt, that is, through private flight reservations.
He added that the price of concert tickets ranged between $100 and $200.
