According to the Lebanese National News Agency, an official report stated that local police arrived at the scene and are taking the necessary actions for his arrest through a series of investigations and a pursuit. Based on Judiciary claims, speculations occurred that the culprit was a non-Lebanese man born in 1989.

Moreover, the report also claimed that Zainab who was in a critical condition was later transferred to the American University Hospital in Beirut but unfortunately succumbed to the injuries and died.

There are no official claims but several Lebanese users on X (formerly known as Twitter) speculate that the culprit in question is allegedly a man of Syrian descent.

This angered many users across social media platforms as they demanded the capture of the culprit behind the heinous acts and his torture to prove an example to whoever tries something like this in the future. Here's what they had to say:

"These people don't fear God."

"I hope he rot in jail forever."

"The owner of the hotel should also be accused as he's the person responsible for the employee's safety and wellbeing."
