Controversy after Indian lawmaker caught with 2,900 'sex tapes'

ALBAWABA - A scandal has hit the Indian community after an Indian politician was caught in possession of thousands of "sex tapes".

Prajwal Revanna, who is a sitting member of the Indian Parliament from the state of Karnataka, was suspended by his party, the Janata Dal (Secular) immediately after he was accused of molesting women and blackmailing them.

In addition, local Indian sources added that Revanna would be expelled permanently if he was found guilty, the Janata Dal (Secular) revealed on Tuesday.  

It is worth mentioning that Prajwal Revanna, 33, is the grandson of former Indian Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda.

He has been accused of sexually assaulting women over several years and accused to recording about 2,900 "sex tapes" to blackmail his victims. 

The scandal has also gone on social media as some videos were leaked online on April 26.

RT reported that a woman legally accused Revanna of sexually abusing her and that she was subjected to sexual misconduct more than one time between 2019 and 2022. 

Nonetheless, she also accused the Indian politician's father, HD Revanna of sexually assaulting her when his wife was out of home.
