ALBAWABA - Netanyahu's office unveiled its alleged plan to revive Gaza after the war. The office of the Israeli Prime Minister linked this plan to peace, contradicting its criminal actions in Gaza.

Netanyahu claimed that this strategy relies on "improving the infrastructure and economy to revive Gaza's economy." It is worth mentioning that internal political turmoil and attempts to overthrow Netanyahu's government are the biggest evidence of the government's failure and the failure of its current plans, and the project to rebuild Gaza is nothing but a figment of the imagination according to many analysts and tangible field evidence.

Netanyahu considered that this program plays the historical role of Gaza as a "major trade route between the East and the West," forgetting that the length of Gaza's coastline does not exceed 40 km, while the length of the coastline of the occupied Palestinian territories is more than 270 km, all of which could serve as a trade route between the East and the West, and he did not propose a similar project within the occupied Palestinian territories.

Many Palestinian activists also added that Netanyahu is trying to cover up what is being committed in Gaza, including "forced displacement, ethnic cleansing, killing civilians, and genocide", as said in a report by UN Rapporteur Francesca Albanese, with illogical projects that are mere propaganda for the supposed most democratic government.

Three stages of the alleged project

Netanyahu also announced three stages of the alleged project, embodied in "transferring Gaza to self-governance," "resolving security issues," and "enhancing economic growth."

In the first stage, "humanitarian aid," Israel plans to gradually establish Hamas-free zones from north to south. This contradicts the reality as Palestinian resistance is not limited to Hamas alone; there are more than 12 resistance factions fighting inside and outside Gaza. It is noteworthy that Israel is unable to control Palestinian resistance in the West Bank and still suffers significant losses with fierce clashes in those areas despite its repeated incursions before and after October 7th.

Netanyahu added that several Arab countries will oversee the sending of humanitarian aid, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Bahrain, Jordan, and Morocco. Despite neighboring Arab countries attempting to deliver humanitarian aid during the war to the affected and displaced, the Israeli government and settlers are starving children and women to deprive Gazans of their basic rights, continuing their "crimes of genocide and starvation."

In the next five to ten years, Israel claims that it will take over security tasks and an Arab coalition-led reconstruction authority will manage the reconstruction process and financial affairs. It ignores announcements from its analysts that it has suffered painful blows from boycotts, especially after Turkey's announcement to suspend all trade with Israel over its offensive in Gaza. Without American support, Israel might have withdrawn from Gaza and lost the battle, according to Israeli analysts

The project focuses on disarming Hamas - which still fights in all of Gaza - despite Israeli claims that it has cleansed the north and center of the Gaza Strip. In addition to Hamas' insistence on its conditions in negotiations and not backing down from them, as Defense Minister Gantz also stated, if a ceasefire is achieved, it would mean Israel's loss in the ground invasion of Gaza and the implementation of Hamas's demands.

In conclusion, Israel deludes itself into believing that its plan is a comprehensive and innovative strategy to revitalize Gaza's economy and enhance regional peace. This is contrary to the actions of Arab and Western countries - except for the US and some others - which have called for recognition of Palestine and imposed sanctions on israeli settlers and trade restrictions due to the brutality of the Israeli army, governmental confusion, and the exposure of Israeli lies over 213 days.
