ALBAWABA Saudi Arabia is gearing up to unveil the Middle East's largest water-themed park and an innovative facility, marking a significant addition to Qiddiya City in the Kingdom. The Board of Directors of the Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) recently announced the ambitious project.

Dubbed 'Aquarabia,' this groundbreaking park promises a host of exhilarating experiences for visitors. Among its notable features are four unique structures, including the world's tallest water coaster, the tallest drop body slide, the tallest water slide, and the longest mat racer globally.

Additionally, Aquarabia will introduce the first underwater adventure ride, boasting fully submersible vehicles for an immersive experience like no other.

The integration of Aquarabia within Qiddiya City aligns with the broader vision for the development of this entertainment hub. It will complement Six Flags Qiddiya City, the flagship theme park of the city and the first Six Flags Park to be established outside North America. With dozens of rides and water-based experiences, Aquarabia is poised to captivate audiences of all ages.

As Saudi Arabia's inaugural home-grown water park, Aquarabia is expected to attract visitors from around the world. Featuring 22 rides and family-friendly aquatic activities, it promises to be a premier destination for adventure-seekers and leisure travelers alike.

For thrill-seekers, Aquarabia will offer an extreme watersports zone dedicated to activities such as rafting, kayaking, canoeing, free solo climbing, and cliff jumping. Notably, it will also introduce the Kingdom's first surf pool, providing an authentic surfing experience in a controlled environment.

Beyond its adrenaline-pumping attractions, Aquarabia will incorporate immersive, narrative-based design elements inspired by ancient desert wellsprings. These thematic touches aim to enhance the overall guest experience, offering a blend of excitement and cultural resonance unique to the region.

With the impending launch of Aquarabia, Saudi Arabia continues to position itself as a leading destination for entertainment and leisure tourism. The unveiling of this state-of-the-art water park marks a significant milestone in the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to diversify its economy and enhance its appeal as a global tourist destination.
