ALBAWABA In Kuwait, authorities are responding to a concerning discovery made in the Al-Mutlaa area. Reports indicate that a two-meter-long missile was found buried underground on Monday. 

Kuwaiti media outlets have confirmed that the Kuwaiti army's Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit was promptly alerted to the situation. As a precautionary measure, the area was evacuated to ensure public safety.

EOD experts swiftly arrived at the scene to assess the situation. Upon inspection, it was determined that the missile had been concealed among the remnants of the Iraqi invasion.

 Given the gravity of the situation, sweeping operations were initiated in the surrounding area to ascertain whether any other storage sites containing missiles were present.

The discovery of the buried missile underscores the ongoing challenges posed by historical conflicts in the region. Efforts are now underway to thoroughly comb the area and mitigate any potential risks associated with unexploded ordnance. 

Authorities remain vigilant as they work to safeguard the community and address this concerning development.
